Our Australian members will be pleased to hear that Chris Atkinson will be contesting the Mexico WRC round alongside team mates Thierry Neuville and Dani Sordo.

Yes you read that correctly Hyundai Motorsport are entering three cars for this round :goodjob:

A slight change to the above, they have decided to run a second team from the next round in Portugal, Sordo leading the Hyundai Motorsport N squad with Hayden Paddon as team mate.  At the moment it looks like they will be sharing events as they don't have time to build a 4th i20 WRC, they just want a third car to try and speed up development.

Meanwhile Neuville has run 7th fastest in Mexico shakedown, with Atko running 9th.

Final stage times coming in now, Neuville and Atkinson have both completed the last test and only need to clock in at the finish checkpoint to record Hyundai Motorsports best finish of the season so far, Neuville taking 3rd and Atko in 7th.  Excellent result for only the third rally for the team👍😎
