Left the bike at home and decided to visit the Palm House at Sefton Park last week.

Sefton Park Palm House is an octagonal, 3 tiered, Grade II* listed Victorian glasshouse displaying plants from around the world.

It was fully restored at a cost of £3.5 million with Heritage Lottery and European funding and reopened in September 2001.

Only just seen this. I live locally to there, although closer to Calderstone's Park. The Palm House is gorgeous, however I much prefer taking my camera into the English Garden in Calderstones.
