Pollenfilter and steering rod replaced.

Well, decided to change the pollenfilter, seems like it was about time to do so.

Furthermore at the last MOT 2 weeks ago they found the steering rod grommet damaged. It passed the MOT, but I had to get the steering rod replaced asap to keep the car roadworthy.

The pollenfilter is easy accessable just behind the glovebox and the steering rod was also very easy to change,

I just loosened the nut and then unscrewed the steering rod, counting the rotations, fitted the new and tightend the nut again. That's the good-enough solution for now...  :mrgreen:

Close enough isn't always good enough. I've done plenty the same way with alignments afterwards. You'd be surprised.

I agree.

Good enough for the middle of a rally but check it soon afterwards. Only really need to check the toe reading.
