Just got back from the service center this morning.Apparently there was a new service update bulletin for the Nav/GPS units. They have updated it and its now working fine as so far.I have tried quite a number of things in the system and everything seems to work good.Hopefully this is the last time I will have to visit them for this problem. Wife has an i40 premium. Sat Nav froze at Agree screen at 1500 klm service (while being updated by dealer). Informed her four weeks for a replacement unit.Dealer Informed her yesterday (after four week wait) that these units are problematic across the Hyundai range for bluetooth and/or sat nav problems and that they have a lot of people waiting for new units but are only receiving one at a time from Hyundai. They now cannot give a time frame when unit will be replaced.Needless to say very frustrated and dissapointed.
Guys..Just a quick update.Mine has been flawless ever since the update of the software from the dealer few weeks ago.I have got a response back from Hyundai in Korea.. (Own source) and been told that there has been emergency software update. This was released not too long ago. This should fix all the problems we were facing.Hopefully this will get every one sorted out. Such a pain if it keeps getting broken for no reason.Joe....
