I'm my own worst critic.. Should have had focus lock switched on, on the Benq (bit flaky through Sheffield) and sorry about camera shake in some sections Benq on Zoom accentuating movement of the tripod only taped to console

Really enjoyed the vid.

Road markings:
I take it the double white lines with the gap every so often means no overtaking.

In UK the lines are continuous. There are no gaps in them. 
If they have gaps then they will be classed as centre lane dividers and you will  be allowed to overtake.

Funny you should say paradise Steve  I watched the video again twice to see if there was a sign you read because paradise is just near there (really) Paradise, No where else and some other oddly names places...

If you look at Paradise, Tasmania on Google maps you will see it is off Claude road and I was on West Kentish road only a few kilometres away 

The road I was on goes to Staverton on the side of Mount Roland where Trish was bought up on her Dad's farm (no power until she was 12 y/o)

Yes can't cross double white lines but they make a break so you can cross to turn up side roads in most cases
