Had a mobile wheel refurb company visit me at work to fix the kerbing on my front wheels today. The damage was light, but I wanted to make sure that the rims were properly sealed before the winter sets in, with all the salt on the roads. Will post pics of the refurbed wheels tomorrow, but very impressed with the result for £60 per wheel including VAT.

Righto, both wheels taken back to bare metal (shiney inserts masked), the lost metal replaced with an epoxy type filler which is apparently more durable than the metal it replaces, then the whole lot primed, resprayed and sealed with lacquer:

I didn't get a photo of the nasty little crescent-shaped ding in the nearside wheel - it was quite deep, but overall, the results are pretty good, and welll worth the outlay.

They are indeed, and the guy was on site for a little over 3 hours. He advised against jet washing or scrubbing (as in a mechanical, drive through car wash) for 3 days to let everything cure completely, but other than that, t'jobs a good 'un!  :winker:

This guy charges £50 per corner plus VAT at 20%, which works out at £60 per corner Daz. I got 3 other quotes and they were all around the same area, pricewise.
