Rear brake lights delay after brake pedal is pressed

Hi to all forum members!!!
I want to ask if someone had a problem  with brake lights, i have some delay of 1~2 seconds after I press the brake pedal.
if I press hard on brake pedal, sometimes the brake lights are not working. I think that maybe is brake switch located on brake pedal but I guess  :D

The brake switches have been known to be faulty.

Welcome vodnokoki, The brake light switch can be an issue with some i30's but not sure of the symptoms as it has never happened to either of ours.

Steve beat me  :undecided:
  • 2021 MG PHEV ( had 4 x i30 plus a Getz an Elantra and a Tucson)

sticky brake light switch,highly possible.  :idea:  oh,welcome aboard.  :razz:
  • 2009 manual sx hatch and 2009 automatic sx cw. both 2.0 petrol.

i just realised you've been a member since 2009 and only 9 posts.  :Shocked:
