Recall for 2009/2010 cars for steering sensor

Yep that is exactly the parts that they replaced nice find  :goodjob2:

Mine is booked for service and I was told the pipes would be changed so I did a search and found the German recall. 

Has the specification of the flexi section been changed or is it the metal tubing that's the problem?

Not really sure but I think it was the rubber section that was at fault on the old pipes. The new ones look similar to me.

Its the rubber bits, I'm sure we have a member that has had an in-service brake failure due to this, quite possibly the incident that started the wheels in motion for the recall.
