These are the two invoices for the 7500 km service & the 15000 kms service on my GD i30 Crdi manual.
On both services they noted the presence of oil around the number 1 injector.
At the first service, they thought it might have been as a result of a spill at the factory fill, but as it was cleaned and it's there at the second service, obviously that is not the case.
What is interesting is that they have since serviced a few other new Hyundais with the same engine and they ALL had the same oil leakage.
So, I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this.
I guess it's back to the dealership again.

simple answer for me is No as I have a FD,but looking through your invoices, although cheap serving the cheeky buggers have charged you for a sump plug washer,all the internal oil filters I have bought over the years, have had the O rings and sump plug washer in the box with the filter,in the price of the filter

I actually find this place really good - trustworthy and realistic pricing. Plus they are pedantic about servicing to manufacturer's specs.

but you cant see the injectors unless you remove the plastic engine cover.

but now days all vehicle manufactureres do it rick.    years ago if you bought a genuine ball joint [for instance] you would get a nut,split pin and the ball joint,now the nut and split pin are separate items with there own part numbers.

Could be worse, they could've replaced your wiper blades without asking and then slugged you for it....
