Not even when you set off and exceed (say) 15mph?

nope thats what i mean, when i sit in car the light is on on the dashboard when i plug the seatbelt in it goes off, but if i fail to belt up and start driving it then flashes but doesnt sound, are u saying u have to exceed a certain speed before it sounds, not sure i ever thought it like that before, may have to go test

if you find out why this is happening then I'll pay you to tell me the trick :P hehe jk's but id love to know how to turn it off! haha. I don't drive without a belt but if I am driving along a carpark or just moving the car at the boatramp (yes I use my car to tow boats and it goes GREAT!) then I don't want 'bong, bong, bong bong sounds!! haha

You can still have an accident on a boat ramp or in car park. The best way to stop the bong, bong sound is put your belt on.. :P

I was going to crack a funny and say you shouldn't have let you daughter drive, then read further on and the problem was solved,I read the book the other day and you can have them set here for either 15 kph or 40 kph, I'll leave mine at 15 kph as I often forget to put my belt on, all those years of driving Trucks Buses Coaches not fitted with belts.
