Service manual on eBay

At that price it is a steal but I'm aware that HY UK have not released a workshop manual to the public for the i30. Only available to franchised dealers.

I would suspect that HY UK will be watching this listing with interest and may take action against the seller.

Although I doubt there is any work I would bother to do myself on Trish's car.. I reckon a service manual would be a good read..

I have a new monitor coming and about 4 things off ebay so might give this one a miss though..

Well the service manual disks arrived this week. Turns out to be a program load (pirated) on your PC. Only works on XP. Needs all 4 disks before anything works & my install failed due to a faulty disk 3. They are sending a new one out but it could be another 3-4 weeks. Big package, though, 2 Cd's & 2 dual density DVD. As I said, could be a good read, but a bit awkward ( & fraught with peril!!) to take the PC into the workshop!

It DOESN'T cover the 1.6 litre diesel....but the 2.0 litre diesel seems to be catered-for.

I've got 36 gig of something I downloaded last year - pretty much sounds like the same thing. Oh, and it needed a dongle as well. Couldn't run it. Might dig it out later and retry

I had the same problem. Does not work on Win7.
I do have a spare laptop with XP, so when I have a spare day or two, I may try again.
