Hi all,

Does anyone know the colour of the dash fascia that surrounds the radio? I need to get it in a spray can. I did a search but couldn't find anything RE: brands and colours/colour codes.

Hi Rick,

That pic is from member "tzwientjuh", and the fascia isn't primed. That's the standard colour in base model FD i30s. If you go to his threadhttps://www.i30ownersclub.com/forum/index.php?topic=2478.0, you'll see that he simply painted over his white text. Not something I'll be doing!

Ah! Righto,if you work out how to paint the facia and not the control words let us know will you,I have always wanted to colour code our SX with the duco colour

Have you concidered vinyl wrapping? Its pretty easy and in my opinion looks neater there are many different colours and patterns aswell. Doesn't help with your volume control markings though maybe you could cut them out of of a white sticker

Personally, I think paint looks just fine, and it is easier than vinyl wrapping. I've decided not the paint the middle section that contains the white text. I'll mask it off and paint the rest.
