Is the alternator in the FD classified as a smart alternator?
I have just fitted a Ctek 250 to a trailer and want to verify the wiring.

Hmm,  I would say not as dont think smart ones have been around 12 years. Could be wrong.  Ctek 250 ?? ( JUST Googled it )

The cars made in Nosovice (Czech) started installing the first generation from (roughly) August 2009. I *think* that was the earliest. with the introduction of the 6 speed u2.


You can tell if you have a sensor on the -ve lead of the battery.
