I was given a 1600 Diesel estate, comfort, manual, as a loan car

whilst my car was being serviced.

(as compared to my car i30, Hatch, 1600, Diesel, Auto. Comfort.)

Obviously longer than the hatchback.  The clutch "snatched" a little

when stating off. The temperature gauge didn't seem to get up to

midway point . The engine didn't like to go below 1500 revs.  At  30mph

was in 3rd gear all the time. MPG better. Armrest in rear.(good)

Suspension seemed better, may be due to extra weight of car.

Larger rear window. (good)

Front drivers seat seemed to go higher than my present car. (good)

Sometimes had difficulty selecting reverse, had to pull the device upwards,

seemed it needed a bit more effort than what I would like.

In all a very good car.

Sounds like driving an auto has made you soft, Alan....  :p :whistler:

Yes, very soft, I certainly appreciate the automatic, especially in

urban traffic, with the manual I was up and down the gear box most of the time.
