Police who deliberately baited motorcyclists to break the law then fined them have been exposed in a recent court case, leading to a magistrate describing the police as ''reckless''.

There's the call for bikers to wear helmet cams.

when i was at the track last (about six months back ) just about everyone had, cams on there bike or there helmets. they where taking good quality footage as they showed me on there lap tops.
only thing i don't like about having an onboard camera on a bike , is takes your 100% concentration off what your doing, on a bike you need 100%,100% of the time. no if's no buts.

I can image that - especially if you are using one of these cameras.....

I used this one when going round the track....and I can assure you that my focus is not on the camera.....



other riders used derivatives of this one....

Go Pros are excellent products. Their suction cups are quick acting and are good for over 200 km/h, it's claimed.

On our way back from Bright (NE Victoria) a few weeks ago we stopped at a pub for lunch. 100s of BMW GS riders were streaming through on a national club event. I lost count of the number of them with Go Pros attached to their lids...

It's simple.
Said it before. And I'll say it again for anyone dumb enough to not get the message.
Don't break the law and you don't have anything to worry about.

Any person in their right mind would know there's a serious difference between 76 kph and 149 kph. If an "experienced" traffic policeman couldn't work out something was wrong with his radar reading, then God help the motoring public.

Is it really the case that if you do no wrong, you have nothing to worry about???

I must have been very lucky 

I have been driving for 38 years and never been charged for anything I haven't actually done..

On the other hand, there were lots of things I did as a young bloke I got away with

I must have been very lucky 

I have been driving for 38 years and never been charged for anything I haven't actually done..

On the other hand, there were lots of things I did as a young bloke I got away with 

48 years for me, including a lot oftimes where driving was a part of my job.
Also never been charged with anything I didn't do.
But lots of times when I should have been.
Probably more importantly, there have been any number of times when I've been let off with a warning.

I have probably been let off only twice in that time.. 

Worse one I got done for was when I got called out to an alarm call. Had to hurry but was making sure I didn't speed. Cop was hiding near a junction and got me for not coming to a complete stop at a stop sign (came to a virtual stop but no vehicles within cooee except for the hidden cop car so I must have kept rolling)
