Who would have thought........ What a surprise that is. It's digital and wireless, of course it's easy to intercept.

Problem is, criminals use either state-of-the-art encrypted phones or land lines (not the same ones) and more often the postal service. So the basis for their surveillance is non-existant, and the only data they gather is from honest Joe-Public......

Well, I wasn't surprised, but was shocked at the detailed and very technical revelations, including a reply to your letter some 13 years ago  :Shocked:
However, I'm not in that industry, and hence not been exposed to even more concerns & worries  :whistler:

Thanks for the links to your thesis - looks interesting, will probably enjoy reading.  Will likely need to go research stuff to understand things - as I have limited knowledge about the subject.
