I don't think so.. If you search for 2010 Sonata (in Google) there are other pictures too that look much the same...

Its the same car, just a different badge. Not sure if some markets (US perhaps) will keep the Sonata name?

Don't know why.. It should have 2.0 and 2.2 diesel engines.. Probably the same engines as in new Santa fe..

If it's anything like here, they will probably release them slowly.
Maybe petrol only at first, then add a base model diesel.
When they have squeezed as much "no discounting sales" out of each one, they release the next one without discounts.

Seems to be a trend here.

Along with the i30, the new Holden (GM) Cruze can't be had in top level diesel.
Ford released the new Focus as petrol only initially... Same for the new Mondeo I think???
Still can't get a diesel on the Kia Cerato.. or even the Hyundai Tuscon.

It could just be due to demand vs supply too... those R series diesels are going to be VERY popular I would think.
Maybe the parent companies are reserving them for the SUV's initially ???

Just guessing.

I don't like it that much on some pics, because it looks a bit "plastic" to me, but on most pics I do

And one more thing..I could stand the chrome "line" on the doors, but I'm not that sure about the chorme on the front fenders..

Looks fantastic. I like the 'coca cola' paint colour too, but looks like a pain to keep clean. I was reading about the GDI 2.4 engine the other day, 200HP apparently. I think it was on the Hyundai blog site.

I couldn't see the Sonata badge on my little Netbook in the lounge ...

A lot clearer now on 24" screen...

That colour is similar to my M8s Mazda CX7 .. too dark for me....
