Hi,

I recently bought a 2012 i30 i was thinking of putting a pair of sheep skin seat cover for front 2 seats.

Will it be safe and I read that it will block 2 side airbags ??

Does any one know any place in Sydney or Australia from where I could but customer made sheep skin seat cover form my i30.

Thanks in advance,

Cheers,

Hi fullmonty

 :wttc:

Most, if not all seat covers these days, are prepared for the side airbags, but of course you need to make sure before purchase.

I'm sure some of the OZ members can help you regarding where to get it.

Autobarn down here in Tassie have a custom made option for seat covers that aren't much more than "off the rack" pricing (also worth searching Ebay) I have seen them on there before.

The Airbag friendly ones come in two types.. Vest Type which just protects the face of the seat and leaves the side bolsters bare and full covers with weakened stitching on the bolsters which gives way in the event of the airbag being triggered.  :goodjob:
