Very high winds over the UK today, the main problems are in the Scottish central belt, where #Hurricanebawbag has closed schools, roads and bridges.

In Aberdeen the winds are less strong, but the fancy new Xmas lights suspended over the mile long main thoroughfare of the city have been blown to the ground and I witnessed a 61 plate (brand new) Vauxhall Corsa being hit by a falling tree outside my work at lunchtime, 4 feet further back and it was through the front screen and onto the roof, it landed on the rear, damaging the hatch, rear quarter panel and smashing the rear screen

Cold blowing a gale but was minus 25c today last year so tropical in comparison ,as usual weather forecast over the top just normal scottish weather if a tad breezy

After a frosty night, with all 3 cars covered in thick frost, temperature 1 degree... it rains.... almost got ass ended by some tool following too close when we had to stop at a roundabout.... slidey slidey, but she managed to steer away from the i30's rump...

This year the weather is really strange...
I can not remember a month of December has been so "warm" and without snow.
This year, Santa delivers packages with a car instead with reindeers and a sleigh ...

We are getting 20c/21c nearly every day (a very pleasant temperature) with forcasts of a possible shower (which in most cases isn't eventuating..)

Pretty cool up here for the ime of year - which is great.
We've had occasional showere predicted for the last week or so but none arrived. Until yesterday and since then, courtesy of the influence of ex tropical cyclone Fina we've had 3 inches.
Supposed to clear up for Christmas Day.

Well, here in Denmark we have the same strange weather as MRT Metro has in Sweden, 5 degree C and a little rain.
Last year this time there was 25 cm of snow and temp below 0 around the clock.
I like this kind of winther better than the one last year

In the garden the flowers think it´s springtime.

Cyclone near Darwin, Hail and Heavy Rain Storm just passed through Melbourne, Huge swells on Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast closing the beaches, Bushfires threatening lives in WA... (all this reported today) I'm not moving out of Tassie no way!(except for a holiday)
