That's not Nitro, just what they call the bottle. they have been useing that on motors since second world war. maybe b4 that? but i knew an old pilot that told me ther germans used it in there planes to climb higher.
the first Diesel i saw useing it was the Bandad bullit truck, had it with supercharger and turbo's.
problem with that stuff is it can turn into a bomb, i have seen that myself
a mate fitted it to his speed boat the boat had a big block chevy, was flying useing NOS then we had luch, he left the bottle turned on and it filled the motor up, then after luch he went to start the boat it blew up cracked the cast iron block too.
some hook up LPG to diesels to get a similar effect on performance, with NOS you would normally see a cloud of black smoke when it goes on as it has to also add lots more fuel to go with the pure oxigen that NOS is.
