I found a pic of my Mum and me and a neighbour at the Brisbane Exhibition (the EKKA) about 1954/55 and posted it on the "Old Brisbane Album" FB page.
See pic below.
It's had over 200 likes but amazingly it has put me in touch with a lady who is the niece of my grandfather's brother (so, I guess my Great Uncle) who was a Baptist minister in SE Qld.
And now it has put me in touch with two people who knew our neighbour and her son, who was a good friend of mine in those days and again in our late teens, early twenties. Amazing what FB can do.
And it would seem my friend who I lost touch with at about 22, is now living at Currimundi (about 10 minutes from me).

I have 3 school friends on fb.
One lives in Sheffield near Dazz.

That's awesome Trev! Despite what some say (including you @AlanHo ) I don't regret using Facebook at all.

I have probably a dozen friends from my school days (maybe more) due to a few school reunion functions (which would have been almost impossible to organise without FB).

I even tracked down a good school mate via Google who is now in contact through FB too (he likes Alan's Jokes)
