.........I found at my friendly local Hyundai dealership today?

I included the photo of the red window sticker (that I have posted before) because it never ceases to amaze me what these dealerships get away with.

If in doubt, make it up. 

That sticker ad was actually at another Hyundai used car yard, not the one I use.

Also one pic showing the current price they're advertising for Accent drive-away.

Interiors are the same as the hatches, plus it's a bit hard with reflections, etc.

Now all you have to do, is resist the temptation to trade in.........

I was mostly interested in the back interior, especially true flat folding rear seats. The missing bars are a bit of a bummer. Was an easy way to tell the CW apart from the hatch when it was coming at you.

The 'estate' as our Pommy friends like to call these wagons, looks pretty nice. I must admit to being tempted to trade in mine at this early stage. However, I couldn't justify it.

Then again I saw an I40 Diesel Auto sedan for 28990 the other day, I dare say the I30 wagon will approach that price, so who knows.....

Oh and I'm blissfully happy to see the end of the roof rack things. They were useless, and just served to annoy me.

I beg to differ. The roof bars with the aftermarket cross bars make for an excellent roof rack. I use my car for work, so for me is essencial to be able to tie a ladder up for example.

To each their own, I hope that Hyundai has some roof racks for you (a fair percentage of their wagon sales are fleet so I would think they have). I'm the reverse, I'll never use them or need them.

I'm with you beerman,I think they look cheap and superfulus,but like you say each to their own,I personally think they should ban the hyper silver and the charcoaly grey cars to,but PPL seem to go crazy over them

 Or Hyundai using BMW engines,like you I know nothing about it,I haven't been able to find any reference between the two motors and I spent a few hours today trying to find anything out about this on the net.

I would think it would be something that has come from a salemans over active imagination,either that or this one particular car has had a BMW engine placed in it.

IIRC, there was a reference to this in a news article that someone posted in late 2011 or early 2012. The article spoke about a handshake agreement to explore new technology together, but that's a long stretch to say they're the same engine. Maybe our resident researcher and searcher knows how to dig the article up.

I hope the roof bars on the i30 are better than the ones on my Terracan.  The max load I can put on my Terracan is 37kg (75lbs) due to the way the roof rails are fitted to the vehicle.  That means after I put my pod on the roof, I can only put 20 kg of stuff in it.

The BMW 1 series runs a 2l engine with various tunes (and if Wikipedia is to be believed timing chain issues, so I don't know why you would want to link a quality Hyundai diesel engine to it).
