Wait 5 months while 4 alloy wheels are on order as corroded, one is or gets damaged, wait another 1.5 months for replacement, get to garage yesterday, wrong alloy wheel, yet the car is an i30 comfort, which only had one alloy model as standard, roll on September when car goes, after just 3 years of constant problems.

This isn't a poor Hyundai experience, it's a poor Dealership experience.

In my opinion....

That is not quite true .... as indeed if Sootytorque's car was up tp scratch it would only need dealer attention at services (eg each year).  Anyway - he likely has a new car now so maybe its a fond goodbye to Mr Sootytorques?
Must say that my Hyundai experience too is disappointing - with lots of dealer visits needed to fix faults, some of which were major in the 3½ years of owning my i30 CRDi auto.  This would seriously put me off buying another Hyundai.  I also changed dealers as both of my local dealers were very disappointing (and will now again after moving house).

Well TH everyone has an opinion based on their experience and I respect yours. Mine has been very different, but my Dealer experience has been less inspiring. The 2008 FD version of the i30 I have has been everything that I could expect and more!
