Just clocked up 31000 ks on my 2010 hatch.
Original 15" standard size hankook front tyres are now totally u/s.
Rear tyres probable good for another 10000k at the max.
Im looking at yokohama a drive on the front at $148/tyre plus wheel align costs.
I believe they are OK for average driving here on the sunny coast etc. Comments appreciated.
My 31000ks to completely wear out my front tyres seems  rather low ks compared to other posts on original supplied front tyres !
My tyre pressures are always at 35 psi
Again any thoughts appreciated
Bye 4 now

Hi ajp.
Check this thread.

I think the A-Drive price you have is pretty good.
Generally speaking, Yokos wear more rapidly than several other "name" brands so it's one reason I elected not to go with them. The Goodyear stores I am associated with are also accredited Yokohama distributors and the brand(Yoko)  has a long list of happy users.
In the end I chose what I'm running for low noise factor plus the steering response I'd experienced on several customers' cars.
I have been meaning to check on "normal" prices for a few sizes but keep getting sidetracked (the last was a stoach bug which put me down for the count). I was there today but probably (hopefully) not for another couple of weeks. I'll chase some prices by phone and come back to this topic.

Hi ajp .. I'm not  the Tyre Guru but sounds like part of your problem is they haven't been "rotating" your tyres .. I usually rotate mine or swap them back to front (if they are rotational) so they all wear out at around the same time and last a little longer overall .. then you have the opportunity to replace the lot with something better...
