I bought this to help protect the rear bumper from my partner, she loved to drag the pram over my last cars bumber, chipping paint off left right and center.

In the ebay listing pics it looks rather light and soft to me, it isn't, it is a thick solid hard rubber, and pretty weighty.. The entire back of it is covered in 3m adhesive and it sticks down well, hopefully it stays that way..

As you can see in the pics I also have the Hyundai bumper protector, it works too but if you pack stuff on top of it it becomes kind of useless..

Well spent the weekend driving around the great ocean road (most of the time in heavy rain  ) and this protector has stuck on real well, no worries of it peeling I don't think..

i think that once its stuck on ,you'll have it there for a long time before it wants to peel off.
