Having said that I can confirm that it is currently 20C warmer than it was at this time last year :happydance: :happydance:
Still 19c here but had a few showers and generally an average sort of day (weather wise) :disapp:
Bad hail in Melbourne Australia has damaged 1000's of cars and homes again (I hope 2i30's and our other Melbourne Members didn't get any damage) Check out the readers Photo Gallery Link..

Not nice :'(
I thought it was summer down under this time of the year.
Is it normal with that kind of weather in your summers.
Severe spring and summer thunderstorms with hail have been a part of Queensland for longer than 10 years Dazz. And their intensity is no more than it was when I was much younger.Bad hail in Melbourne Australia has damaged 1000's of cars and homes again (I hope 2i30's and our other Melbourne Members didn't get any damage) Check out the readers Photo Gallery Link..

Only the last 10 years or so since the world's weather has gone haywire...
Obviously, there has always been exceptions but Perth , Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane (Capital cities of some of our larger states have had bad hail damage events in the case of Melbourne, several I think) There were 9 cars damaged at one house this time
It is cyclone season in the more northly States.. So that is not so unusual...
surferdude,
Quite normal for Queensland, but unusual for the southern states, same thing happening in South Australia, although no damage as yet.
I think they mean the Tasman sea .. forecasts for Tassie are ok and Radar is clear :goodjob::goodjob2: :goodjob:
My synoptic chart shows it to be quite cool in the mid to upper regions with the possibility of frost on the extremities (tips).   :goodjob2: :goodjob:
But following Christmas, there is plenty of constant warm air blowing up from the south which is quite normal for this time of year. :)
The forecast for tomorrow is for much of the same with the possibility of some follow-through from the lower regions.
Some dampness during the night is likely and come morning it is expected that the wind will subside considerably.
What the weather is like outside, I have absolutely no idea.

Right now there is 9,4 degree C outside, and it is allmost 9 o'clock in the evening

at the moment we have 19c and 60% humidity,we are looking at a top of 26c today and the remainder of the week should be in the mid 30's. :sweating: :sweating: :sweating: very tropical weather.

We have had a snowfall today :happydance:
It is 0*C now and there is a thick layer of snow blanketing the ground.
How thick? The official claims the depth of precipitations has been up to 5cm today
Anything more than a sprinkle would bring the transport system to a halt here in the UK.
Are your roads still open?

10c and the rain is falling horizontally because the wind is so strong. :faint:

It was dull today in Liverpool... 9deg & very damp.... a bit brighter in Shropshire when I got home but still a lofty 8 deg...
It's so warm here right now I'm not going to switch the electric blanket on - that'll save me a few bob.
Come to think of it, I don't have an electric blanket... that's saved me even more :D
Ya'd soon get warm if you could turn that weather girl on

Sounds like my worst nightmare :whistler:
I'm jealous. Wanna swap?Nope. :happydance:
I've lost count of how many times I've emptied the rain guage in th elast 3 days.
I don't know how you guys put up with temperatures like that. I lived in the Middle East for 12 years and temperatures there were considerd to be nice and warm at 40 and a tad hot at 50. I hardly ever spent time outdoors in the summer and spent my time permanently in air conditioned environments - be it villa, workplace, car, shops etc.
The government decreed that people must be sent home from work on full pay when the official air temperature, as measured in the capital by the goverment appointed meteorologists, exceeded 46 centigrade (115 farenheit). In all my years there - despite thermometers at home and at work reaching 50 on occasions - it always seemed to remain cool in the capital and I cannot recall workers ever being given a day off work for that reason.
So I take my hat off to you Aussies - no wonder your beer is better known for its cool temperature rather than its taste..............
Sounds like my worst nightmare :whistler:I reckon that -29*C, which is forecast in Saint-Petersburg next week, would be the sweetest dream for you then.
A very nice dry 10c today.
No wind and it is pleasant to go out and have a walkabout.

We got 10 cm snow yesterday, and it is still snowing. Not much wind, and temperatures around 0 C.I hope this front will pass by us as I prefer -20*C and clear sky
Looks very pretty when it is all white outside.
