I'm jealous. Wanna swap?
I've lost count of how many times I've emptied the rain guage in th elast 3 days.
I don't know how you guys put up with temperatures like that. I lived in the Middle East for 12 years and temperatures there were considerd to be nice and warm at 40 and a tad hot at 50. I hardly ever spent time outdoors in the summer and spent my time permanently in air conditioned environments - be it villa, workplace, car, shops etc.The government decreed that people must be sent home from work on full pay when the official air temperature, as measured in the capital by the goverment appointed meteorologists, exceeded 46 centigrade (115 farenheit). In all my years there - despite thermometers at home and at work reaching 50 on occasions - it always seemed to remain cool in the capital and I cannot recall workers ever being given a day off work for that reason. So I take my hat off to you Aussies - no wonder your beer is better known for its cool temperature rather than its taste..............
Sounds like my worst nightmare
A very nice dry 10c today. No wind and it is pleasant to go out and have a walkabout.

We got 10 cm snow yesterday, and it is still snowing. Not much wind, and temperatures around 0 C.Looks very pretty when it is all white outside.
