have they had to cut the grass yet?
ASA you would have more fun watching tour de France m8, that English Lad been wining a lot. i think they race 240k each day at speeds up to or close to 100kph (just a bit slower ) & on a push bike too
How many times an innings does the grass need cutting? i think thats what cricket is like to watch

bicycle riding... Eh when I wer lad, it wer grand when I wer a lad, I went everywhere on me bike. Not because I was interested in bike riding, it was either get on yer bike or walk.
Cricket, now that is an art form. I can remember playing for the hospital team when I was a student down London. We was a bloody set up that day, we was set to play Virginia water Hosp. Their charbanc drew up and cricky, half the bloody West Indian touring team came out. I was batting three... I was out fifth ball to a thin snick to slips.. Then we went out to field they wouldn't give me a go with the ball, swines.
Cricket, what a wonderful game. :goodjob: :goodjob: :goodjob:

 @ half the west indies team.
The Indians sure love there Cricket .

Does anyone have a solution to delay streamed radio audio, to match the TV, without using an external radio input. I have software called "radiodelay", but it can't see the streamed audio. :fum:

69 for 4

Hatch, chicken, count, shouldn't, you, before, your, they.
Please sort and get back to me....
-
They aren't using the review system too wisely once again. I mean, the BBW (substiture Box or Bollocks for the first B :scared:) decision wasn't out - just a bad umpire call.
Far too early to predict the outcome. :)

It's very much even Steven right now... If things start to look dodgy for us we can always invoke the old rain dance and turn it into a washout
-
Agar won't be scoring 98 to help out in this innings - 96-7. They may not even avoid the follow-on.
-
Agar went for 2?
-
ALL OUT for 128
-
Then Follow on my Australian friends!

I don't know the answer but would like to really. I stream the test on my desktop PC via HDMI to a standard TV but listen to Test Match Special on BBC radio - the radio always comes through almost instantly but picture delayed by a about one delivery.
I could stream the radio through my laptop with a delay if there were some suitable software. :)
-
There is, I mentioned it in my post. It's freeware called radiodelay. The only problem with it is, you have to source the radio from another radio using line in and I'm too lazy (too many wires), to do that. Because I stream the radio off the net, the software is effectively looking at itself and trying to apply a delay which doesn't work.
-
Ah, I see. I'm probably too lazy to do that as well. :D
Though actually I have a spare DAB portable I could feed into my laptop. Hmmm. :)
-
Give it a try, then you can follow our downfall in sync with the TV, although I must admit, I only looked at the TV after the radio told me what I was about to see. I didn't like a lot of it. :fum:
-
You would like it even less today. :(

:sicky:

like I said once before talentless mob we have if they worried more about playing their chosen game instead of their ego's and picking fights in pubs, they may get somewhere,I say again, stop paying them the mega bucks, pay em on preformance, that would soon having them getting results.
-
It's all Rudd's fault.. The Cricket, The Tennis, The Rugby, Ambrose having a bad year in Nascar :fum: :disapp:

Geez Rick, anyone would think you didn't like cricket....
You have to remember all teams go through this sort of thing when great players retire...Give our young blokes time and before too long we'll be back up there!
It wasn't so long ago that the poms couldn't win a game of marbles yet look at them now....
-
Bring Thommo back, he's there in the stands.
-
So was Mark Waugh and a few others.... :)
-
Well it's about time us poms had a bit of a treat... The yanks don't like us because of that little misunderstanding in Boston harbour... The Ozzies don't like us ever since the Europe union thing... Oh bugger it, no one likes.
So just a few little wins, Rugby, Tennis and Cricket, well 'we're worth it'

All over now, after a terrific performance by the last pair.
The Aussie selectors need to tempt Shane Warne and a few others out of retirement. :)

Nah, I think they have to fetch on the young talent, this may lead to a couple of lean years then we'll have some great events like this
Funny cricket dismissal ! Lillee caught Willey bowled Dilley (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oh4iF_Si_2E#)
I was glued to the tele back then, and

I found a way of delaying streaming radio. :) I put this link into the streaming media option in VLC Media Player -
http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/listen/live/r5lsp_aaclca.pls (http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/listen/live/r5lsp_aaclca.pls)
- though any link would do I suppose if that doesn't work outside the UK - then use the 'Track synchronisation' option under Tools to adjust the delay to anything which seems right. :)

All I need now is some Cricket we can win, to make it all worthwhile. :whistler:
