I don't know how they get away with this, but Spitfire Brewery down in Kent UK have been running a particular advertising theme in their pubs for some time. I believe that there have been some complaints - but the Advertising Standards Agency have cleared them as being humorous rather than offensive.

Spitfire Brewery have now put them on their website - there are dozens in various categories - well worth a browse if you remember WW2.

It's just plain funny to me  when I was at school we used to sing a little song which had a line about Hitlers B*lls,  all that stuff was good fun cos the swines bombed our chippy....
