Theses two websites both do the same job - in real time - tell you what flights are in the air around the World.

Testing them at my home shows that neither is better than the other - but it is sometimes necessary to look at both sites to get an accurate? identification of some aircraft passing overhead.  One site may not give you any details whereas the other does. I have also noticed that there is time lag between reality and the display.

I've used filghtradar24 for the last 18 months. I didn't detect any delay. I checked an overflying plane and it was where it should be. Good to look up and know the speed, altitude etc.

The network of tracking receivers is voluntary & requires some expense to purchase the radio equipment then interface it with the webpage. Hobart, which covers all of Tassie was only recently added.

Thanks for the second link, whereas Flightradar24 has been known to me for about a year. Yet neither of them provide an immense information about flights over Russia, but its European part only.
