Just found this article.
I know its the Elantra, but am I correct in saying  that's the american version of the i30? And with possibilities of a 2/3 door i30 in the future, would this be a possible design for it?

I know there was talk of Hyundai bringing out a 3 door version of the hatchback i30 to compete/run along side the Kia Pro C'eed (3 door version of the i30 c'eed brother)

On things thats the same is the shade of colour haha :)

I rather like this possibility of the next 2/3 door i30. Bit bigger than the veloster, and possibly  more practical, but not as big as the i40, (similar rear end tho).

Would give another hot hatch option for Hyundai

Indeed much improved over the Scoupe (I always called that the scoop  )

Mind you at the time the Scoupe was OK, it was certainly no worse than Subarus first foray into the coupe market (although they called it a Grand Tourer!),  the SVX.

At the time I had a Hyundai X2 GSi, lovely car, and was pretty keen on the Scoupe

Subaru UK sent me a promo letter for the new XV, I think its a shame that the new Impreza has really taken them backwards...............be interesting to see how the new 2012 Impreza fares.

Also in this letter was the new Subaru ETC scheme, ETC means Everything Taken Care of and includes 3 years dent and scratch repair, alloy wheel repair and refurb, annual four wheel alignment, first MOT (roadworthy) check, service pick up and delivery, service valet, lost key replacement, winter/summer wheel/tyre storage service and insurance excess payment.  Quite impressive in the realms of 3 year schemes IMO.

Flip me, they must be struggling to have to offer that list of service, though very impressive.

The new xv, is that not just the new toyota GT86 (new supra) with a subaru badge on it though :(

  • 2021 KIA Niro 3 1.6 Petrol Hybrid
I saw a newspaper clip on the web yesterday which I thought I had saved in my favourites to post here - but I can't for life of me find it now.

Anyway it was about the Hyundai Czech factory swapping some models with the KIA factory to push volumes from both factories higher.

It mentioned that the 3 door i30 starts production in the summer and the i30CW will continue to be produced in its present form until the new model is launched at the end of the year.

Quite like the look of the 2 door i30 (more than the Veloster maybe)

I'm guessing that Subaru care pack would have a cost somewhere  :whistler:

This would make sense.
Hyundai are already using the Kia factory, hence the new ix35 colour choice of ice white (or w/e the name was) has changed to creamy white (same as santa fe)
Because the ix35 is now built in the kia factory, its easier than having a different colour of white
