I'm just wondering if there are any high milers on here? Mine is not high, but seeing as its 10 months old and has covered 28,000miles its done a far amount for the age!

I did 50.000 km in 12 months with my previous i30 (diesel pic. topic: Silver i30CW), sold it with 105k km, so I guess that's somewhere close. But there are few more users, that do more km. Not many of them and not much more, but.. You definitely are among the ones that make the most miles/year. I don't drive as much as I did before and how I started with my new i30, I do approx 820 km/week, so that would be around 42.000 km/year = 26.650 miles/year.

I'm just wondering how well it will cope really, Its had one service and two tyres so far. That's all!

42 months later and my Fergie has covered 71,500 miles. Five services and one complete set of tyres (next service booked in on 13th Oct).


She just gets better and better and better


I'd say you were high mileage Mad Max, and I'd say I was middle class mileage

We purchased our lovely vehicle with 14,345 miles on the clock. In the six months we have owned it we have increased it to 26,255 miles.  I know it's not a lot of miles yet, but at this rate....

My '09 Crdi is 2 years & 10 months old now and has covered 118,500 kms.

My 2008 CRDi have now 150.000 km on the clock ( 36.000/year )

I bought it 2. hand, and have only done 24.000 in 11 month.

It's a great car.

That's quite a mileage. I'll be really interested to see how things are going with yours and what to expect from mine.
