Really    (I can only remember a couple of lots of water restrictions in Tassie in my whole life) we only get say 30" of rain a year in most of the places I have lived but it is nicely spaced out ..

We have water restrictions every year in W.A.
You can only water lawns & gardens on certain days of the week - it's alloacted according to your house number.
Can't imagine life without restrictions.
