Took my Touring in for it's 15K checkup and it was a great experience. One local dealer sent me a coupon for a "special" $179 usd for the service. I called my dealer and they said they would match. When I arrived this morning, he explained this was a simple service and all it cost me was $115 usd
They were great, did the service and fixed the fuel door release(warranty) and even washed the car. He explained that I would be receiving a survey from Hyundai about my service. It seems they are pushing, over here at least, for owners to get the best service experience possible. The idea being if you get bad service you won't come back, and when you do come back, you do what I did and look at all the new models. Which makes sense to me.
As far as the new Elantra GT
It looks nice, the gas mileage is better, but the loss of 14 cubic feet of cargo space makes it a no go for me. So glad we bought when we did. I feel Hyundai "blew it"
Do like the looks of most of the vehicles, and I see more and more each day. Maybe some day people over here will wake up and see the value of owning a Hyundai
