Howdy Campers,

New member - long time lurker - from Sydney, Australia. Just signed on the dotted line today for a Clean Blue 2012 i30 Elite Petrol Auto. Paid AU$26,600 driveaway w/ Metallic Paint, Floor Mats, Boot Liner, Premium Plates, Window Tint & Tank of Petrol with 3 years capped price servicing and map updates. Very happy with the deal compared to what dealers were quoting at launch in Oz two months ago ($29k), but have heard of people getting even better deals.

Hardest part for me now, is how to spend the next two weeks whilst I coulnt down the days till I take delivery. Any tips on what to do, how to prepare or anything else I should get organised so I can hit the ground running in my long awaited new i30? Any tips or links on how best to run in the new petrol models? Anything to check before driving off the lot?

Finally, congrats on such a great resource. I've been checking in on the forum for over twelve months and have learned lots. Can't wait to hear of others' experiences now that the new model is starting to get out there in decent numbers...
