A cleaning woman stole an empty commuter train in a suburb of Stockholm and crashed it into a house, injuring herself,

That's not true. The cleaning woman didn't steal the train. She's the victim not the delinquent.

She just set the train into motion while cleaning by accident because the train company ignored every safety rule and 'parked' the train overnight with the "dash key" inserted, the brakes deactivated et cetera.

So, shouldn't the media retract their statements of "the facts" if they're incorrect.

How wrong can you get  :fum:

The media I read did retract their statements about half a day ago. I don't know why this is still on BBCs website.

The train company set the rumour about the 'theft' in the world right after the accident happened.
They now stated that they couldn't imagine the chain of their own failures that led to the accident and therefore were thinking that the only explanation was that the cleaning woman stole the train...

So it was a whole train of events then that led to the crash?   :undecided:

Would be ironic if the cleaner ended up with the train CEO's job and the CEO ended up as the cleaner after this
