Great result, I'd buy the mechanic a beverage of his choice, for using his head.

Such a shame in a few ways though.
TPMS will be fitted to all cars soon.
It's definitely worth having.
Materials choice is probably the issue on the example used by Hyundai.
Mine is still OK, but I did treat the valves to a good soaking in white grease spray & it gets re-done every time the car gets a wash.
