Hi,

I've had my i30 since November 2007, she was an ex-demo car, and she's now got nearly 20,000 miles on the clock.  1.6 Diesel, Style, in steel grey.

I love her to bits, and we have great fun going driving together. lol

No photos yet, but as soon as I find my camera, and take her through a car wash I'll be sure to post some.

Lorraine

I didn't know the club existed  :-[

Since driving the car off the forecourt I've not seen another one until a little while ago, when one parked a few cars away from me in a supermarket car park.

The guy driving it stopped by to chat and told me about the club.  And now here I am, with all you fine folks.

A few others have posted about how they heard about it, what else they drove... so here's my little story.

I lived in Sydney for just over 18 months, and heard great things about the car there, but had no money and no real need for a car while I was there.  When I knew that I was heading home to the UK I knew I'd need a car again, so I did some research.  My flight landed on a Sunday, and by Monday lunchtime I'd made the deal.  I Test drove a Kia C'eed, and Citroen C4 just to prove to myself that I liked the i30.  There was no real comparison really, the C'eed was not as nice to drive, and the C4 was expensive to buy, run and insure.  Plus the iPod connection for the i30 was the best I've ever seen  :D

The only other car I've ever had that I've enjoyed driving as much was my MGF, but another one of those would have been wrong on so many levels.  I did have a Holden Statesman one weekend in Sydney, that was pretty nice, but not an option in the UK either

Sorry, I have a tendency to write too much...
