The cook & I went to see The Seekers last night in Perth for their 50th anniversary tour.
We saw them a quarter of a century ago at the Perth Entertainment Centre for their final tour as well. 
A few months ago, Judith Durham had a brain haemorrhage therefore the concert was cancelled at that time but she's back now.
She looked a bit fragile, but as great as ever. I would put her voice at 90% still.
She cracked on a couple of high notes and apologised but really there was no need.
Their last song, as always, was "The Carnival Is Over" and I think it might actually be so now. 
I started listening to them when I was five years old and still do. They are awesome and Judith is still great.
Standing ovations all round, of course. One of them still lives in Perth.
She looked right at me (we were front row) at the end and I said thank you.
To last fifty years on stage is a great achievement.

Dazz, they were advertised at the Hobart Entertainment Centre when I was down there.  Looks like it has been on though.
BTW, they're "doing" the UK next year.

Went to the Seekers performance last night. Thoroughly enjoyed it, Judith's voice was strong and quite perfect. The blokes were impressive too. Really glad I got the opportunity to see them, b4 they, or I, pass over to oblivion.

Not much makes me jealous  Phil, however, this does.  I could listen to Judith Durham endlessly <sigh>

Very rarely go out at night, but glad I did for this. It was my birthday pressie (in May), from my daughter @ 23, she was the youngest person there, but was brought up on Seekers, Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel & Pink Floyd, so was able to fully appreciate, the performance, too.

There were plenty of walking frames and a lady a few rows in front wouldn't keep still, I thought that was a bit over the top, but then at intermission, I realized she had Parkinson's.
