Hi,

I've just bought a new Hyundai i30 Trophy.  It's white, 1.8 petrol version.  Picking it up tomorrow and very excited.  I thought I would check out the forums here.

I was well impressed by the specs of the car, and the trophy leather/alloys just made me want one even though I was originally wanting to buy a tourer diesel.

It's a significant downgrade in size for me, my previous car was a Kia Grand Carnival, but I'm hoping that I can cope.  My son's wheelchair fits snuggly in the boot of the i30 so at least it won't be rolling around! :)

I just filled it up for the first time.  500km from just under 40lt fuel!    Much better!  The old Kia would have done 450km on 60lt fuel.

Does anyone know if the 1.8 model I have will benefit from RON95 or 98?  With my wife's Subaru she gets a lot more ks out of the higher grade fuel but Subaru do recommend RON95 or better.
