Number one change would be that they give you a free spare fob key. I mean it is terribly overpriced at $450, whereas I just bought a new dishwasher, loaded with electronics for not much more than that!!
They have to get real or loose sales, I could not recommend to anyone a purchase, unless the Hyundai/dealer came to the party!

Dave, can I suggest - go to your local Hyundai dealer and say
"Hoy (make sure you say 'hoy', it's very important :P)...
"I found out when my friend got his i30 he got 2 fobs - I only got 1! I think you must have forgotten to supply me with my second one. It's ok, I'll wait here while you order it for me." And then sit down and pull out a book and start studiously reading.

There is plenty on this site on how fellow i30'ers got a 2nd fob.

Can't find at monment as search function doesn't want to play ball.
Will check later and if I find it will post link.

To resurrect the thread...

Anyone else find it very odd that blue lights would be chosen for the instrument cluster when for every other car I've owned, blue was reserved for the high-beam indicator?  Caught me a couple of times now when I've tried to turn off high-beam in a panic only to turn it on instead.  :-[

It's a crook colour anyway!  Not easy to read.

Hi Pip,

I quite like the blue although Green or a soft orange might be o/k...

Have a look at the dash on a new Kia Cerato (very harsh red lighting...) I think you would appreciate our blue after that
