Hi from Melbourne

Hi.

I'm Dave and I could well be the latest Newbie and I'm from Berwick which is about 40km South East of Melbourne.

I'm British and moved to Australia from Lancashire in 2009 with my wife.

In England I was a professional Driver Trainer and Defensive Driving Instructor but my qualifications aren't recognised in Victoria so I'm Sales Manager for a local hydraulics company.

We've just bought a new i30 Elite manual which was delivered at the end of November 2013 after a 4 week wait for the boat. Manuals aren't popular in Australia but 2 were on the water so we nabbed one of them.

We also have a 2007 Getz Si 1.6 at work which I get to run around in. 100 BHP in a roller skate! It's a hoot to drive.

I prefer a manual in the i30 and back in 2006 we had a 1.6 Getz, they are a zippy little thing!
