The alarm of the seatbelt is always ringing for the front passenger seat even if no one is sitting. Is there any way to disable the alarm for the passenger or do I have to replace the seat?

Also can anyone tell me how this thing that is missing from the wiper is called or where can I find it:

You wont need a new seat but putting the vehicle into Hyundai to get it checked would be advisable, it could be simply a loose connection or faulty sensor, does it stop if the belt is plugged in?

There is also a seatbelt chime canceller :link: Deluxe Seatbelt Chime Canceller Kit - Shark Racing though I still recommend getting the problem looked at.

The wiper cap can be found at a wreckers or you could order one through Hyundai since you have to go there to get your seat looked at :)

For the wiper, an electricians 25mm blind grommet is a perfect fit, and you could silicon it in (dry out first). The grommets are used for filling empty holes in metal boxes & fuseboards etc.

Yes it stops when the belt is plugged in.

Try sliding the seat all the way forwards or all the way backwards and drive away. There could be a slack sensor connection down there under the seat.

Do you drive with anything on the passengers seat?
The passenger seat presence sensor may be over sensitive. Get it in to your dealer for a look.

I deactivated the passengers airbag with the switch in case you have a baby seat in front and it stopped ringing as a temporary solution until I go to the dealer.
