Following a link in this thread:

Fitted my I30 with LEDS.

I purchased a pair of "Osram 581 Diadem Chrome" indicator bulbs from eBay to see how they squared up.

I have to say they're every bit as bright as the stock amber PY51W "581s" but look visibly superior:

Time to order another set for the front, though I'm a little hesitant about the lack of forwards light that would normally be thrown onto the existing extended focaliser that's in there...

Shambles@ the Diadem bulbs behave in the same way as the standard bulbs so they work just the same only with a richer colour, that orange focaliser makes no difference as either way both style bulbs glow orange and throw light evenly in all directions.

Even though it was in sunlight, I couldn't see much light being thrown forwards through the chrome cap, but a helluvalot was thrown sideways & backwards at the reflectors...
