Does ANYONE know where I can find some wiring diagrams for the instrument cluster?

My TPMS light has come on and I had a tyre company remove all the TPMS valves and replace them with standard ones.

(Quoted £500 to replace 2 of them! I think NOT!)

Thanks

Best I can do is year 2009, same model and most likely identical to yours.

Be aware that the feed for the tpms goes to the micom which controls the trip display module. You may get unexpected results if you terminate the wire at pin 3 of connector IP-C so make your termination  repairable, just in case.

Note, the pic for IP-C is from a LHD car.

Even if you can disable the TPMS warning light, it may still produce a fault code to the ECU. Don't know about the UK, but at here it would be illegal to disable factory-installed safety features including TPMS, and the MOT will be failed if there's any fault codes present.

I'm only glad I bought my i30 at last year so don't have TPMS in it. At this year it becomes mandatory for all new cars. It's only a stupid system with expensive valves which do not seem to last very long, not mentioning the another set for winter tyres (including programming ECU for recognizing them), also not mentioning how those valves will work when it's -30 out there...  :whistler:
