Hi there,
I changed the nearside brake light today which now works great, but I have lost my headlights, with the exception of the full beams. i30 crdi automatic.

Any ideas?

I have checked to make sure I didn't knock anything loose. and the fuses all seem ok.

help.

thanks.

Did you put the blown bulb back in to see if the lights now not on came back on?

If they do then may be the new bulb is to blame i.e wrong type etc

:welcome: Jason., sounds like a fuse (or relay) to me. There are two lots of fuses under the dash and in the engine compartment.

You may need to reset your BCM. Do you know how to do that?

Time to get a test probe out and follow the electrical path. I would turn low beams on, then check with a multi meter, or test lamp at the light connector. If there's juice there, you don't need to worry about fuses or relays. If the lamps fail to light, but there's power at the connector, you lamp is most likely blown or you have no earth to the lamps (unlikely though).

I'm guessing Steve is suggesting disconnect the negative terminal of the battery for at least 30 minutes.

The 2nd set of fuses/ relays are in the engine bay...
