A Good Samaritan who went to help a stricken pensioner who had fallen in the street has spoken of his outrage after being given a parking ticket.

Student Drew Hollinshead, 21, stopped his car in a disabled bay as it was the closest to the elderly woman who had gone down.

Returning to his car after assisting the woman Mr Hollinshead, who is studying at Bournemouth University, found he was being issued with a parking ticket.

Bournemouth Borough Council said the parking attendant's statement says Mr Hollinshead was then verbally abusive and pushed him, a claim the student denies.

There's a lot I could say that, but i'm scared of the HOS.

Oh f*&k it............. They should shoot/hang/burn at the stake (choose whichever is applicable) the parking attendant. Old fashioned Public executions. Exorcise these power-crazed idiots from society.

Or.... tell them off (Bad boy, now go and sit on the naughty step)

Seriously, this is sick and it's not the first time this has happened. Believe me, if i'd come to aid of a hapless citizen and all i got was a parking ticket, i'd be livid. Verbal abuse ?  Yeah, for starters.......

Should be a simple matter to appeal the ticket. Like soldiers in a war zone killing people, "Just following orders". :undecided:

You'd think so, wouldn't you. Just confirm the situation and done, even before writing the ticket. But noooooo, you have to appeal, or worse, go to court.

Wonder where all the Samaritans went
