Hey All,

I just joined the Hyundai i30 club.
Picked out my car on 16th May, and collected 23rd May.
I have the 2015 i30 Active GD Series 2 Auto in Brilliant Red.

I am on the Sunny Coast in QLD.

However i'm looking for some 16" Hyundai rim's if anyone has some. Haven't had hubcaps since about 2009 so it's odd.

Fellow Tasmanian I see. I moved from Hobart to Sunny Coast in 2012 :D

Thanks! Better than my old 2011 Holden Cruze SRI Manual. Had to get an auto for medical reasons.

You could also upgrade those wheels to 17s or 18s :)

Craig, I'm trying to cheat and use the current tyres and just get rims. Unless I can get a good deal on rims 17" or 18" with tyres also :D

Either way i'd be happy. I like the 2014 SE rims, but not too fussy

Will be cheaper just sticking to wheels, don't buy through Hyundai though as they are very expensive.

I sold my factory alloys and tyres to another member here on the forum then purchased 18s through a wholesaler/installer, the change over cost about $1249 from memory.

Hi Kerston. Welcome aboard.

Keep an eye out for the Silver i30 with an i30ownersclub.com sticker on the back - especially if you're down the south end of the coast.

i agree i'd say go up to 17" or 18" as well. Picked a set of new rims and tyres in a package for about $1300  :)

@CraigB, Awesome! I was contemplating between those and another one that had 5 Spokes, but real happy with these ones. Got them to paint the Callipers for an extra 200 too.

They offered to Lower it for $600 with new springs. Not sure if ill do that anytime soon. Wondering if thats a decent price as well?

I think we may end up overtaking Kerston's topic here so maybe open a topic of your own to further discuss this.

Keep an eye on Ebay and Gumtree. They come up from time to time, often with new tyres on them because people want to go to 17 or 18's

One of our members was having them made. he's in Victoria and changed jobs a while back and hasn't been on here much since.
Daryl (Dazzler) might be able to contact him.

No worries, the only other two I had went to South Africa and Canada! Smooth it out on a bench before you apply it. I was pretty careful to fold it between the letters.

Scarlett is a good name!  :goodjob:

Small world that you worked with my daughter at one stage!  :goodjob:

Yeah I thought I may have but I haven't been in there since I left, so I wasn't sure who was still there.
Those stickers travelled far, it's currently on the bookshelf under some books :)
