Calorie-conscious men prefer wine and cocktails to a good old pint of beer


The traditional pint is becoming a thing of the past as calorie-conscious men tire of beer-induced bloating and weight gain and turn to red wine and cocktails as their tipples of choice.

I've been drinking both for 45 years now. Though beer is my favourite and always has been. Red wine is fine on some occasions though. Can't take white wine as for some reason it gives me fierce indigestion.  :scared:

Fortunately I'm one of those people who never get fat. :)

I keep trying different wines in the hope that one day I'll find one I like, hasn't happened yet and I don't like beer :sicky: port and bourbon are my favourites :drinks:
