well my i30 Sport Diesel has gone back to the dealer and been replaced with an i30 Turbo. After all the clutch issues early in its life the diesel performed pretty well, but a quick drive in the Turbo convinced us a change was in order. Took possesion this morning, so far so good.

Congrats, you will miss the economy but I'm sure you will enjoy the ride otherwise! 

Another Euro member (can't remember his moniker) had his tuning of the turbo model re-flashed a couple of times by the dealer to improve responsiveness etc..

If you notice any flat spots might be worth mentioning that to the dealer. 

We don't get the turbo option in Australia.

Hi Guys
haven't had much driving time yet. Just flew to Malta for Christmas . So far no niggles except they forgot to give us the floor mats
The economy is a bit less but driveability is very good and the overall driving dynamics are excellent. I have seen the posts about software issues and will check into this when I go to sort out the mats The power isn't in Cooper S realms but is pretty good given the low mileage.

Well 500 miles so far and no issues of any sort. MPG is sitting at about 30 average, not quite the same as the diesel but still not too bad. Really enjoying the driving experience.
